My goal at the Ron Nunn center is to provide a safe, loving, home away from home environment for the students where they can be comfortable to express themselves and form meaningful relationships all while learning about the world around them!
Children have always been drawn to me since I was little. I knew I wanted to work with children since I can remember. I started babysitting at 11 years old all the way to being out of high school. While in high school, I joined the TLC Academy, (teaching and learning careers), where I got to intern at a bunch of different schools in Brentwood, working with different age levels. I started working at Aim High a little after graduation as an aide at Ron Nunn elementary, and since have worked my way up to now becoming the director of the Ron Nunn center. It has been very rewarding making lifelong memories with these students and their families while watching them learn, explore, and grow into amazing members of our community. This is where I am meant to be! .
"Our oldest daughter Sophia is in her 4th year at Aim High. I cannot say enough great things about the staff, we would truly be lost without them. With two parents working full time, my wife and I can rest easy knowing that our child is safe and well taken care of before and after school. The staff are wonderful with the kids and do everything they can to ensure our daughter has a fun-filled day, while dedicating an appropriate amount of time to homework and school projects. Soon, Sophia's younger sister will be starting Kindergarten and she can't wait to join her sister at Aim High!
