I knew from a very young age that I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. In fact, one of my fondest childhood memories is playing “school” with my peers in the dramatic play area of Aim High. I loved attending Aim High from kindergarten to sixth grade, in which I made many friendships that I still cherish today. I am very thankful to have been able to return to Aim High and work with many teachers who helped raise me!

I have integrated my passion for teaching into my education, in which I obtained an Associate’s Degree from Los Medanos College in Behavioral and Social Sciences. From Los Medanos, I transferred to California State University East Bay where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies. The wide range of topics that I have studied has equipped me with the right tools to assist children in becoming the best versions of themselves, as the children have the same effect on me! I truly enjoy challenging the children and learning new things with them daily. Thus, my goal for Aim High is to provide learning opportunities in a fun environment where children love to be!
